Welcome Friends

Welcome to our vacation home – Idlewood Acres on George Lake is located just 3 miles west of Spicer, MN, at the end of a dead end road and nestled in among mature trees.  George Lake is a 230 acre lake and one of the cleanest lakes in the area. 

We purchased this home for our family to enjoy, however, when we cannot be there Idlewood Acres welcomes you to come relax for a short time and enjoy the lake and nature or just gather, imagine and create.  You will find this place ideal for any group: 

1. Family or Friends Getaway
2. Scrap Booking or Crafting
3. Quilting or Knitting

You will find that this place will become your home away from home and it is our hope that by gathering here you will make memories that will last a lifetime. 

Memorial Day  through Labor Day – craft tables are “put away” to focus on lake time during the summer.  Idlewood Acres is rented by the week from Saturday to Saturday.    See calendar for availability.

September through May – ideal for scrap booking, crafting, quilting, knitting, or family or friends getaways.  When making your reservation, please indicate in the comments the focus of your stay.
